85 pp, light brown w/black lettering & illustration of a cow's skull on the front cover. The booklet is an English translation of Die Apachen am Rio Grande by Wilhelm Frey (which probably was a pseudonym for Wilhelm Fricke.) Frey's works had a deficiency in that he was ignorant of the American West. His German hero lives in a manner unrecognizable to any real frontiersman. His Apaches are a blend of tribes guaranteed to confuse any ethnologist and hsi geographic distortions creat a never-never land that would challenge the ingenuity of the most skilled cartographer.
