unpaginated, dark tan cloth covered boards w/black lettering on the spine w/brown-wht-red-black color illustrated front panel, thirty-three chromo-lithographs plus numerous black-and-wht illustrations. The book describes various animals through out the text starting with hens and chickens, squirrels, owls, reindeer, Orang-Utan, Sacred Ibis, Cows and Calves, Donkeys, Peacocks, and others. Some of the animals featured in the chromo-lithographs are: hog, rooster, fox, wolf, buffalo, giraffe, tapir, tiger, moose, cow, goat, grizzly bear, wild boar, rabbit and others. The last chromo-lithograph shows a young boy and girl with the boy and a dog sitting on a Saint Bernard w/the young girl holding the leash. light foxing on some pages, one of the prev owners wrote on the ffep.
