48 pp, grey SC wraps w/orange -wht lettering. Pamphlet M861 with 74 listings of microfilm rolls are reproduced the compiled records that give histories of Confederate military units. The compiled records consisted of jacket-envelopes bearing the names of the units & titled "Captions and Record of Events." they typically contained caption cards showing exact captions of the muster rolls, & record-of-event cards containing information relating to the staions, movements or activities of each unit or a part of it. dj front panel creased, prev owner wrote on front panel.
