Book has large oval decorated w/red dots closely spaced together, w/title & author's name inside, Tom is wearing a vertically striped suite & a fedora hat w/upturned brim & red band, same picture of Tom is on the spine in oval. Book #1 in the Tom Swift adventure series. Mattson 58500 - format #2, Cook - Tan-2 format. Book lists to His Airline Express on list in back. Some soiling & wear to the boards, worn on the corners and at top & bottom of the spine, interior hinges cracked, some chipping on the finish of the boards, prev owner wrote on the ffep.
