118 pp, green cloth covered boards w/gilt lettering w/10 full-page color photos copyrighted in 1900 by A.W. Mumford, Chicago. The book contains seven stories: The Baltimore Oriole, Turtle Dove, Dat Bird O' Satan, The Cat Bird, The Big Convention, The Crane and Sawney and the Crows. Aunt Chloe describes her experiences with the different birds in her stories. The ten illustrations are catbird, baltimore oriole, robin, ruby-throated hummingbird, american blue-jay, cardinal, great gray owl, house wren, red-headed woodpecker, and mockingbird.
