Brief three page biography of the author with three black & white illustrations. A man born in England in 1628 starts to work as tinker, and his first wife awoke some desire for reformation, he changed over time and exercised the ministry, his absence from parish attracted the notice of ecclesiastical authorities of the neighborhood, and he was placed in prison for 12 years. the prev owner wrote on the title page, prev owner's address label on title page, some foxing to the pages, slight wear to the corners, spine faded, joints have been professionally repaired.
