This is the first volume of Adams's trilogy on the American Cowboy. Adams listed of the collected sayings on several pages, some concern horses, riding, Mexican Horse Maxims and teh philosophy of Charlie Russell. The book contains two printing errors: p.24 line 9 (then/them), and p. 26, line 14 (champ/camp). Whaley #24.
