This is the 5th book in the series. TGSC M-303-5 format 3A. The series is set in Charlestown, and Maida is the daughter of millionaire Jerome "Buffalo" Westabrook; Maida is given anything she can possibly wish for. Maida's group vacations in teh Adirondack Mountains, where a big bear and a romance cause great excitement. Robin Hood and Bunny White, the children's teachers/companions, get married to each other. small chips at top of dj, large chip at bottom of the dj spine, chipped at bottom front corner of dj, previous owner wrote on front flap of dj.

The Big Eight become, for awhile, The Big Nine when they find a sleeping boy in the barn. The boy is a King who is hiding while his country is in turmoil! The Big Nine convert a barn to a theater and plan a stage production of "The Tempest." dj slight wear at top & bottom of spine, light foxing to flaps of dj, prev owner wrote on verso of ffep that she received the book for Christmas in 1946 as a gift. prev owner wrote on front flap of dj.
