141 pp, green cloth covered boards w/gilt lettering and deco on the front cover and gilt lettering on the spine. The fore edge and bottom edge are untrimmed. A collection of sixty poems. This is considered to be George Sterling's best work. Titles of some of the poems are: The Master Mariner, Night Sentries, The Last Monster, Christmas Under Arms, Willy Pitcher, Respite, Kindred, The Hunting of Dian, A Winter Sunset, A Legend of the Dove, Said The Wind, Menace, Past the Panes, Lineage, to One Self-Slain, Dawn from a Western Mountain, Fater Coyote, The Lagoon, and others. The front & rear free endpapers browned. slight chipping to the finish on the boards.
