xiii, 184 pp, quarterbound green cloth boards w/red cloth spine w/white letters, has a Mexican (Morelos) peso inset on the front cover, dj red-wht-black, brown-light green endpaper maps, "bamboo" colored paper, typography & dj designed by Carl Hertzog. "The Peso edition". The peso contains a portrait of Morelos. The book is a full length biography of the great Mexican patriot & revolutionary, Jose Maria Morelos. The book resolves the paradox of Morelos' position in history: how a lowly priest, degraded by his church & executed for treason by his state, could in time become the symbol of Mexican freedom & patriotism. Lowman 170A The Peso edition was limited to 500 cc's. dj spine sunned.
