The first chapter covers from the Missouri River to Denver, followed by from Denver to Pueblo, Pueblo to Ogden, Salida to Grand Junction, Pueblo to Alamosa, Alamosa to Expañola and Santa Fé, Alamosa to Silverton, Durango to Ridgway, Silverton to Montrose, and others. It ends with Ogden to Portland via the Oregon Short Line and the Oregon Railway and Navigation Co.. It contains a listing of the altitude of mountain peaks of the Rocky Mountains, mountain passes, elevation of lakes, and altitudes of towns & cities followed by the indes of towss and points of interest. some wear to corners.
