Very Good+/No Jacket. First Edition. 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall. 178 pp, light orange-dark brown SC wraps w/color illustrated front, signed by author on the title page. The book is written in six parts. The first part provides a sketch of the major events f/the beginning of Texas in 1519 to 1835. The second part summarizes the events that occurred during the period f/June 1835, to Febr. 23, 1836. The third part covers the period of time f/Febr 23, 1836 to March 5, 1836. The fourth part covers the time f/late afternoon March 5, 1836 to late evening March 5, 1836. The fifth part covers f/early dawn of March 6, 1836 to the fall of the Alamo, a short six to eight hours later. The sixth part is a brief historical note containing the biographical information of five men: Travis, Bowie, Crockett, Bonham & Santa Anna.
