x, 118 pp, dark blu boards w/gilt lettering, SIGNED by the author on the ffep, dj white-gilt-black-red w/wraparound illustrations, top edge stained red. A lustry narrative poem in swinging rhyme, a saga of the King of Buccaneers, Henry Morgan, who fought and looted nad lusted and roistered about the Spanish Main in the days of King Charles. Morgan was a racketeer of the seventeenth century with his cutthroat gang of the sum and scourge of a hemisphere. The author used certain incidents from John Steinbeck's novel "Cup of Gold." with Steinbeck's permission.
