The book contains a description of the development of the city of West, Texas from 1836 to 1920. The building of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad caused considerable economic expanison that resulted in the founding of the town of West. Many of the immigrants of Czech and German descent began arriving as early as 1872. dj soiled, chip missing top of the spine, prev owenr wrote on dj front w/ball point.
