Two air pilots, Tom Raymond and Jack Parmly, are waiting their turn to take off, each has an observer to handle one of the two machine-guns. Their airplanes are equipped with the Liberty engines. In their engagement with the Germans, Tom shoots down a German plane and in turn his plane and observer are shot up. He makes it back to allied lined. Mattson 01600-5, format #6. This is book #5 in the series of 6 books. some soiling to the cover, pages yellowing, several pages have a chip on one of front corners missing, one page repaired.
