96 pp, green cloth boards w/pictorial front & back, w/mylar cover, w/cream slipcase. Many of our 19th century characters whose deeds were marked with violence obtained a sort of immortality- they were just not allowed to die! Quantrill, Billy the Kid, Bill Longley, John Wilkes Booth and others were reported hale & hearty after their official demises. Book was written shortly after James died at the hands of Bob Ford. Historical accuracy in this volume plays second fiddle to sensationalism. The book is a 1966 facsimile of the 1883 edition. w/some soiling to slipcase.
