Thomte was the letterer for the story "Real Thing." The book contains a collection of twenty-three adult short comic stories. They range from pure fantasy to dark horror, to humorous whimsy, to noir, to action/adventure adn science fiction. Some of the authors of the short stories are: Norman Partridge, Poppy Brite, Mark Evans, Joe Lansdale, Brian Biggs, John Bergin, Robert Bloch, Charles de Lint, Michael Moorcock, Richard Klaw, Edgar Allan Poe, Nancy Collins, Bill Crider, Scott Cupp, Marc Paoletti, Paul Wilson, Roger Zelazny, Neal Barrett Jr., Ambrose Bierce, Al Sarrantonio, and others.
